Ever since Prabhas & Shraddha Kapoor starrer upcoming biggie Saaho got postponed for release date Aug 30, there have been talks about its clash with another Shraddha’s film Chhichhore. Both films feature the beautiful actress in the lead role so it was nothing but unfortunate if both of them released on the same day.
However, the clash has been averted now as the makers of Chhichhore have decided to move their film one week ahead and it will now release on Sept 6.
The trailer of the film was released yesterday and it was along with the trailer, they announced a new release date.
Now with this development, Shraddha Kapoor fans are surely in for a treat as they will have two back to back films of their favourite star to witness in cinemas. It will be kind of “Shraddha Kapoor Mini Films Mela”. Isn’t it?
Earlier talking about the clash, Chhichhore director said, “I wish it was avoidable. For 10 months, yours is the only film scheduled to release on a particular day, and then a month before (the release) you are no longer the only film releasing on that day. It is something you cannot be happy about.”
Leaving the issue to his producers, he added, “I guess Sajid Sir and the people at Fox Star have been through this kind of a situation many times in the past and they are far more experienced than me to judiciously decide what would be the right course of action,” said Tiwari, who made his directorial debut in 2011 with the National Award-winning film, “Chillar Party”.
The film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, Tushar Pandey, Prateik Babbar & Naveen Polishetty.
