Recently, about the entire Kanika Kapoor-coronavirus matter, the Kapoor & Sons actor had posted a tweet for which he was massively trolled. Well, this time again, netizens bashed him for something else.

Yesterday, the Chandni actor shared a picture of a random man who looked wretched. There was a text on the pic which reads, “5 days at home listening to the wife”. Rishi Kapoor shared the pic with the caption, “On a lighter note! Side effects of the Coronavirus”.

Kapoor’s tweet didn’t go down well with Twitterati who slammed him for sharing a sexist tweet. One of the Twitter users wrote, “Sir this Misogynist and sexist AF! Itni hi problem hai life mei toh shaadi nahi karni chahiye thi na life mei! It’s 2020, wife jokes are NOT funny!”

Another person tweeted, “We always knew you’re a chauvinist @chintskap and interestingly even in these times of solidarity you’re the same … Derogating and demeaning women…Just try you puny brain to remember, who was with you when you were undergoing treatment abroad…Your wife Na?
Such a shame!!”

Even Piku director Shoojit Sircar slammed Rishi for his tweet. The director wrote, “Ya just 5 days.. woman /wife’s/mother’s have been locked down since generations serving the family.”
