Actor Rajiniesh Duggal is set to take on an interesting real-life role as Physics Wallah teacher Pankaj Sijariya in an upcoming biopic. The film is based on Sijairya’s journey and is being developed by one of his own students, James A., who has written the story and will also direct it.

Pankaj Sijariya is an organic chemistry teacher at Physics Wallah, the education platform founded by Alakh Pandey. He has built a strong following among students for his easy, entertaining teaching style. His use of humor, relatable examples, and shayari has also made him popular among Physics Wallah students.

The cast reveal came during an Instagram Live conversation between Rajniesh Duggal and Pankaj Sijairya, when the actor told him about the film and the student behind it. Sharing his reaction to the script, Duggal said, “I have a very interesting surprise for you, Pankaj sir. One of your students has actually written the film and asked me if I would like to play your role in it. So I said 100% that if there is something like this, I would absolutely want to be a part of it. In fact, I finished the script today, and it is written in a very interesting way.”

For Duggal, the film brings an unusual opportunity to portray a real-life teacher through a story written by someone who has personally experienced his influence as a student. Esha Talwar has also been roped in to play the female lead in the film.

The biopic film on the life of Pankaj Sijariya of Physics Wallah is currently in development. Further details about its title, production schedule, and release date are expected to be announced later.
