Actress Rati Agnihotri had filed a police complaint a few days back alleging that her husband Anil Virwani is involved in the domestic violence. After the complaint was lodged, Virwani was summoned by the police and we now hear that he has denied the charges.
Viwani has been charged under IPC sections 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 350 (use of criminal force) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

Post Virwani’s denial, the police have now decided to investigate the matter and will be taking a statement of their domestic help so as to find out a witness for the assault.
