According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, a source informed the daily that Deepika’s injury is giving her time to prepare for her wedding. “Deepika’s parents are very happy with Ranveer, and the actor’s parents too are very fond of Dippy,” the source said.

He further added, “Both of them will get along fabulously well and fans, like their families, too want them to get hitched. With Deepika taking a break from her shoots, she has the time to think and plan the wedding now. This could not have been possible, had she not developed a back issue and was shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s film.”

Ranveer and Deepika were last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The movie turned out to be a hit.
