Join UsAfter making his directorial debut in Bollywood with Kabir Singh, there lately have been reports that Sandeep Reddy Vanga is gearing up for his second Hindi film. The reports also mentioned that he has approached Ranbir Kapoor to play the lead role in the film reportedly titled Devil.
Today, at the trailer launch of Marjaavaan, producer Bhushan Kumar was asked about Sandeep’s upcoming film. He said, “No one is finalised yet. He (Sandeep) is still writing the script. We will officially announce once it’s ready.”
When asked if they have approached Ranbir Kapoor to play the lead role or not, he answered, “We haven’t approached anyone yet.”
Well this clears that Ranbir Kapoor is not approached for the film as if now!

Coming to Ranbir Kapoor, he will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which also stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. Brahmastra is a fantasy film and will have three parts.
The first part of the film is slated to release during Summer 2020.
Kapoor will also be seen in a period film titled Shamshera. Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
