Wondering why Peepli Live got an ‘A’ certificate from the censors? Well, it is because of the four-letter words used quite liberally by the main artistes in the film. Producer Aamir Khan and debutante writer-director Anusha Rizvi felt, the language used by the characters was very integral to the story and so, rather than deleting the swear words, they preferred to go along with the ‘only for adults’ tag offered by the Central Board of Film Certification.
