Versatile actor Manoj Bajpai, who has come a long way in this industry, says now he works on his own terms and conditions.

His last release was Satyagraha in 2013. Ask him the reason behind taking such long breaks between his films, and he says, “I like working on my own terms and conditions. I don’t work under pressure. I always wait for people to offer me roles and I take up what I want. I have been preparing for four films – Tevar, Saat Uchakkey, Traffic and an unnamed co-production with Neeraj Pandey.”

Manoj, who is currently busy promoting his film Tevar, will be seen in a negative role in the film and he says he has not done too many negative roles in the past. Talking about his negative role he said, “I haven’t done many negative roles – maybe four or five. It’s my habit to put some good in the bad so that the role is complete… if everything is completely good or totally bad it won’t be remembered; so this mixture helps a lot.”
