Legendary Singer Manna Dey who had been ailing for quite sometime now from acute respiratory problems, breathed his last in Bangalore today morning. The singer was 94.
Deemed as one of the industry’s most legendary singers ever, Dey sung in multiple Indian languages. Teaming up with singers like Kishore Kumar, Md. Rafi, Asha Bhonsle, Lata Mangeshkar and many more, the soothingly melodious songs of the late veteran singer is endless.
Manna Dey ruled the playback singing domain right from the 1950s all the way into the 1970s giving hit songs like Laga Chunari Mein Daag, Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli Hai, Ek Chatur Naar, Yeh Raat Bheegi Bheegi and many more.
