Kapil Sharma’s Co-Star Upasana Singh Shares Her Encounter With A Molester

The actress, more popularly known as Pinky Bua, her character from the show Comedy Nights With Kapil, was shooting for a film in Landran, Chandigarh. After wrapping up the shoot for the day, Upasana Singh was headed back to her hotel in a taxi.

However, at about 10 pm she realized that the driver was driving her to an abandoned stretch. Not keen to take any risks, Upasana promptly called the police control room which responded immediately, locating her and apprehending the driver, named Vivek.

Initially the driver denied all allegations, claiming Upasana wanted to drive the car herself. When he refused to let her, she started threatening him. He even claimed that she was accompanied by another team member from the shoot. But then on Monday morning he admitted the truth and gave a written apology to the actress. Following the apology, the actress withdrew her complaint and left for Mumbai on Monday afternoon.

In an interview with an entertainment portal she said, “I wanted to go for a stern punishment because if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone but then I decided to let it go after he wrote an apology letter.”
