The Kangana Ranaut v. BMC fight got ugly after they demolished the actress’ office in Bandra. It is said that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation had sent a legal notice to the actress. Besides breaking down of the office interiors, the actress also claimed that damages were caused to her belongings as well. Now we hear that the famous designer Manish Malhotra has come under BMC’s radar.
It is just one day to all this chaos and BMC has found another illegal construction. It is said that the famous designer has been given 7 days to respond. Read on to know more.
According to reports in Times Of India, Manish Malhotra has been issued a notice by BMC for illegally turning his residential space into a commercial property. He received this notice immediately after Kangana Ranaut’s office was destroyed.
According to a report in the news portal, the BMC has raised objections over alleged constructions at Manish’s bungalow. Surprisingly, this bungalow is also located at Pali Hill in Mumbai.
BMC has pointed out the unauthorised addition and alteration by way of erecting partitions and cabins. It has also pointed out the unauthorised construction of a structure or shed on the first floor of his management office at the bungalow.
The notice has reportedly been sent to him under section 342 and 345 of the MMC Act. It is also said that Manish Malhotra is liable for prosecution under section 475 A if he fails to give a valid reason for the illegal constructions.
