Join UsKartik Aaryan is truly being the blue-eyed boy of Bollywood, since Pyaar Ka Punchnama there has been no look-back for this actor who’s no more your guy-next-door. Latest is, he has bagged the much-talked-about, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Stepping in Akshay Kumar’s shoes, it’s to be seen how the audience welcomes him.
The last couple of years have been an upward ride for the star. He has had a few glitches in Kaanchi and Aakash Vaani, but very few now remember he even starred in them. Since Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Kartik has done a blockbuster in Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety and a hit in Luka Chuppi.
Kartik has very interesting lineup in which he has an Imtiaz Ali film (Love Aaj Kal 2), a Dostana remake (Dostana 2), the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh and now Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Makers have replaced the director Priyadarshan with Anees Bazmee, which hints that this could be more in a comical zone.
It releases on 31st July 2020, which is a jam-packed Friday for Bollywood movies. As we’ll see, not one but two other movies releasing on that day. The first one being Shamshera which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Recently the news of shooting in Ladakh was also out; makers are leaving no stone unturned in upscaling the visuals of the film.

Apart from this, we also have SS Rajamouli’s RRR which stars NTR and Ram Charan in the lead with Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in the special cameos. The reason behind why this movie is super-special is, it’s an immediate project for Rajamouli after the game-changer Baahubali 2. This could possibly turn out to be mammoth as well.
So, it’s surprising to see three notable movies to release on the same day. One of the three could definitely move, it’ll be clear as we near the release date of the film.
