Kangana Ranaut has gone to US to prepare for her role in Hansal Mehta’s Simran. She will be playing a simple Gujarati NRI named Praful Patel.

Her sister Rangoli Chandel posted some pictures from the workshop sessions on Twitter. She tweeted – “Workshop mode!! Simran Atlanta.”

Simran is based on the story of an ambitious girl (played by Kangana) and how she gets trapped in the world of crime.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh, the movie will begin its shooting by September end. Simran is slated to release in 2017.
