Hrithik Roshan has decided to quit smoking and has urged other smokers to join him. The green-eyed actor, who’s last release was Kites, had reportedly given up smoking but picked up the habit again during the filming of Guzaarish. His character in the movie requires him to smoke, and though the shooting of the film ended, the habit stuck on.

There were rumours of the Kites star quitting smoking in June but nothing happened. Looks like Hrithik finally decided to throw away those cancer-sticks today (August 5). “Hello tweeple!! Giving up smoking today! Any of you disgusting smokers wanna join me?? Love to the rest of u non smokers!!”

Director-screenwriter Ken Ghosh tweeted his support to Hrithik, “@iHrithik Day 36 without smoking for me!! And still going strong!” May his tribe increase!
