Holi Without Water

It was a Holi with a difference. Unlike other Holi celebrations where water is used in abundance, the Holi song picturisation for Smita Thackeray’s film, Society, was done sans the use of water. The song was picturised recently at Lokhandwala Complex in Bombay and it was done with a lot of colours but without a drop of water because the film revolves around the issue of water crisis. Participating in the Holi song picturisation were Dimple Kapadia, Randhir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Jaaved Jaffery, Om Puri, Seema Biswas, Sarika, Rajvir and Reema Sen. The song was choreographed by Piyush Panchal and rendered by Sukhwinder Singh.
