Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, actress Rhea Chakraborty has been facing a lot of hatred and criticism. Most of the netizens along with SSR’s family hold the Jalebi actress culprit. Amidst all this, many actors like Tapsee Pannu, Lakshmi Manchu and others have been demanding free trial against Rhea. The latest name to join this list is the popular Television actress Hina Khan.
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress has voiced out her opinion regarding the trial against Rhea. Hina is someone who always has vocal about everything she feels, and never shies away from expressing it. And she has done the same about Sushant’s case.
While talking to Hindustan Times, Hina Khan spoke about the CBI investigation and how Rhea has been subjected to an unfair media trial. She said that we should let the agencies complete their probes in the matter before painting someone a criminal as it can damage someone’s life forever.
“At least, let the CBI investigate and come to a conclusion. You may damage her career forever with accusations. She might not be able to face anyone. We are all fighting for the right cause- Justice for Sushant- but it doesn’t have to be this way. Since the last few weeks, all that every channel talks about is the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation. I am not saying don’t talk about it but have a balanced view,” she explained.
Hina Khan feels that the country has got a lot to deal with, from COVID-19 cases to floods. Hence, the news channels should put their focus away from the SSR case. The actress also talked about the vicious trolling on social media that most film celebrities go through. She said that people don’t realise how their one tweet can lead a mob of trolls on Twitter to destroy someone’s peace completely.
According to Hina Khan, a lot of star kids have become an easy target for many netizens, and face a lot of hatred. She also understands that this is a sensitive topic and one has to be very careful before saying anything about it. Do you agree?
