Happy Birthday Aamir Khan: “Mr Perfectionist” Aamir Khan has proved himself to be one of the most versatile and successful movie stars in the history of Hindi film industry. He is one actor who has constantly reinvented himself and does not mind experimenting with different ideas, concepts and even looks.

Interestingly the superstar himself says that “Mr Perfectionist” tag is not appropriate and rather “Mr Passionate” will suit him better as for him more important is whether in a shot the heart of the moment has been captured rather than the achievement of technical perfection.

However costars and colleagues say that he indeed is Mr Perfectionist and give several examples such as (i) his rejecting 6 scripts of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Lagaan and liking the 7th so much he decided to produce Lagaan himself (ii) hiring a Punjabi tutor to get the accent right for Rang de Basanti and (iii) piercing his ears for Lagaan.
