The most popular rounds doing in the industry right now is that Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor Farhan Akhtar is all set to replace Superstar Amitabh Bachchan as the host of the reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Bachchan, who has always remained synonymous with the show, was expected to step down, suggested the rumors.
However in a recent interview with Koimoi, Farhan denied the same. The actor who is currently promoting his upcoming flick Shaadi Ke Side Effects was asked about it and he retorted saying, ” No, I haven’t been roped in to host Kaun Banega Crorepati. Contrarily, I haven’t been approached for it either.”
It will be quite a mean remark to make but it will hard to replace Amitabh Bachchan in this show. Remember what happened to Shah Rukh Khan! The actor hosted KBC for an entire season, but the TRPs were downhill (reported many news sources) for most part despite Khan’s admirable screen presence. If at all Bachchan steps down, to find a replacement will be a tough call for the show’s producers!
