Dostana 2: Dharma Productions’ Dostana is one of the most loved films which starred John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. The story revolved around two men who pretend to be a gay couple to stay in an apartment. Eventually, both of them fall in love with the same girl and try to win her heart but she loves someone else.
Now, Karan Johar recently announced the second installment of this rom-com which will star Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. The third actor will be a new comer and the name has not been revealed yet.

The announcement of the same wasn’t received well by the netizens as John and Abhishek were the best fit for the sequel too. Since the first part was adored because of their camaraderie, fans wanted to see them again in Dostana 2 as well. In our humble opinion, if the makers would have gone with John and Abhishek, the film would have had an added advantage.

We think that the makers would have taken the story from where it ended and could have taken a leap of some years. Since both of them are straight, they could get married to the respective girls and the story would have continued from there. The story could have been proceeded further showing both the guys doubting their respective spouses as they think they both are lesbians but in real they aren’t.
But nevertheless, we surely love Kartik and Janhvi, and we wish them all the luck for the film. We hope they maintain John and Abhishek’s charm in Dostana 2!
