Karan Johar just teased us with a new video on social media mentioning a new announcement and it wasn’t too difficult to take a guess, but Dostana 2. The first one had Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan as the lead cast. Rumours have it that Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor are being considered as the leading pair for Dostana sequel.
First part was an instant hit and Priyanka’s ‘Desi Girl’ avatar is still one of the hottest looks of B-Town. Karan announced it and said, “Got a ring to it, doesn’t it? You know what it is!”

The first part was directed by Tarun Mansukhani and the story revolved around 2 men pretending to be a gay couple in order to share it with Priyanka (who is undoubtedly the hottest in Miami). But like any other Bollywood movie, both of them ended up falling for the same woman, how ironical!
There were rumours that Rajkummar Rao, John Abraham and Jahnvi Kapoor was approached for the movie but nothing has been finalised as off yet. Earlier this year, there were speculations doing the rounds that Alia Bhatt will be playing the lead in Dostana sequel but when Karan was asked about the same, he said, “For the record…..NO ONE has been officially approached for DOSTANA 2!!!! Some thoughts and ideas are underway but nothing official has moved…..”

Well, we couldn’t help but think who’s going to be Janhvi’s partner in the movie. Is it going to be her BFF, Sara Ali Khan or Dharma’s favourite Kiara Advani? Can’t wait till tomorrow!
