Actress Dia Mirza opened the show for designer Anita Dongre at the Lakme Fashion Week 2015. She looked stunning in a black maxi dress which was embroidered with mirror work. Anita Dongre introduced the Grassroot collection featuring art of ethnic designs keeping the traditional culture alive.

There was Dia Mirza, but earning more applause and a standing ovation too were 26 craftswomen from Gujarat who took a bow here as showstoppers. Dongre’s show was attended by names like Shabana Azmi, Sangeeta Bijlani, Sona Mohapatra, Gul Panag, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Sanjay Suri.
