42-year-old Television actor Kushal Punjabi’s death came in as a shock for both the industries and his close ones are still grieving his untimely demise. While we have seen many celebs offering their condolences, the recent one is Chhapaak actor Vikrant Massey who feels there is always a way out of depression and below is what the actor has to say.
Kushal committed suicide in December 26, 2019. His body was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment of December 27. According to the suicide note that he left, the actor was suffering from depression due to financial crisis and failed marriage.
Vikrant according to a report in Pinkvilla while talking to an entertainment portal spoke about how there are ways out from depression. He also expressed how one can resist from taking drastic steps. It was the when he spoke about Punjabi.

He said, “Talking is the solution to combat such strong emotions. Talking it out to anyone. My experience tells me that, in our society talking about such subjects is still a taboo, you’re considered weaker. If there’s a man who goes up to his family and says that I’m depressed and I have issues, the people consider it as a Mental Issue. He is called mad. We still look at these issues from the same lens. The pace at which we’re progressing is extremely slow and unfortunate. Let’s face it.”
