Firebrand director Prakash Jha’s political saga Satyagraha starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao that is gearing up for a August 15th release is expected to begin with a quote from Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography.
The movie traces the story of a middle class uprising against India’s corrupt diktats. The Gandhian quote will serve as a prologue to the the film.
According to reliable sources, “Satyagraha” as a concept is based on Mahatma Gandhi and Prakashji is planning to start the film with a quote from Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography “My Experiments With Truth.”
Having said this, the buzz is that Prakash Jha is going to request film’s lead actor Amitabh Bachchan to do the voice over of it on screen. Bachchan’s character is fashioned on the demeanor of social activist Anna Hazare who single handedly evoked a war against corruption in India.
