Join UsTiger Shroff starrer Baaghi franchise has a huge fanbase and keeping that in mind the makers are all set to treat the fans with its third instalment. Baaghi 3 will star Tiger, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles. Recently director Farhad Samjhi spilt beans over the characters and also called Tiger and Riteish his Ram-Lakhan.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Farhad opened up about how Baaghi 3 will be an action thriller with a dose of humour. Talking about casting Riteish as the villain he said, “Riteish has always been known for his comedy yet he impressed as the psychopathic antagonist in Ek Villian. Unlike the previous two instalments, Baaghi 3 has a generous dose of humour and the character Riteish portrays complements his comic timing.”
He added, “It slips into serious action after a certain incident and Riteish is one of the catalysts in the plot. He and Tiger are like Ram and Lakhan of our film.” Baaghi 3 will mark Tiger Shroff and Ritiesh Deshmukh’s first outing.
The earlier two instalments also had Tiger in the lead. Tiger was highly praised for his action and dancing skills when the installments released. Talking about how impressed Farhad is with Tiger, he said, “Tiger possesses the lethal combination of aggression on-screen and humility off it. He is a sorted kid, with lots of promise and is a huge hit with youngsters. I am impressed with the way he gives his 100% to all his films.”

This is also Shraddha’s return to the franchise after the first one. The second instalment had Disha Patani in the lead. “This girl is a gutsy and free-spirited character. She also shares an interesting relationship with Riteish in the film as he is not just Tiger’s brother but married to Shraddha’s sister (played by Ankita Lokhande),” said Farhad on casting her in Baaghi 3.
Farhad is now gearing up for the release of his Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4.
