Amitabh Bachchan Honoured With Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Abhishek Bachchan Has A Sweet Message For His ‘Pa’

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has defined an era in Bollywood and there is no doubt about that. Big B was yesterday conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his outstanding contribution to the Indian cinema. Son Abhishek Bachchan is full of happiness and pride as he wrote a note for his father and called him his inspiration. Read on to know what he has to say.

Big B was honoured with the award by a President of India Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi. The ceremony was held in Rashtrapati Bhavan and was accompanied by Abhishek and wife Jaya Bachchan.

Abhishek took to Instagram and wrote a note for his Paa. He wrote, “My inspiration. My hero. Congratulations Pa on the Dadasahab Phalke award. We are all so, so proud of you. Love you.”

While receiving the award, Mr Bachchan expressed his gratitude and also spoke how he still has more work to do and there is no retiring from it anytime soon.
