Alia Bhatt’s Bihari avatar from Udta Punjab was released earlier today and it gained a wide popularity from the cinema lovers.

Apart from the lingo and her body language, Alia has decided to go for a darker skin tone to match her character, read a statement.

Keeping the role in mind, this kind of transformation is commendable from Alia as well as the makers of Udta Punjab.

Udta Punjab is the Abhishek Chaubey directorial, which also stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. The film is set to release on June 17.
