Taking the promotions of his upcoming film Dum Maaro Dum a step further, Abhishek Bachchan flagged off an awareness campaign against drug abuse. The actor almost immediately tweeted, “Just flagged off a great initiative by the Narcotics Control Bureau – say no to drugs! They’re doing great work in helping educate people.”
AB, who plays ACP Vishnu Kamath, a cop out to destroy the local and international drug mafia in Goa, appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs. “Taking drugs is the most uncool thing to do,” he said at the awareness run organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) as a part of its silver jubilee celebration.
‘Dum Maaro Dum’, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Prateik Babbar and Rana Daggubati, releases on 22nd April.
