Aamir Khan’s Dangal has achieved the milestone of being the first ever Bollywood film to cross more than 350 crores at the domestic box office.
Dangal which released in 2016, has approximately raked in more than 387 crores alone at the Indian Box Office, taking the overseas collections into consideration, Dangal has reportedly grossed more than 2122 crore globally.
But the matter of the fact is, apart from the 350 crore club, Superstar Aamir Khan has also marked several other 100 crores club.
As the history of Indian Cinema unfolds, Aamir’s films have been the first ones to start 100,200,300 and now 350 crores club.
Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini which released in 2008 holds the record of being the first Indian film to net over 100 crores domestically in India.
The history of Bollywood’s first 200 crore club film traces back to 2009 when Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots became the first 200 crore grossing film of Bollywood.
3 Idiots finished its lifetime run at the box office with Rs 202.47 crore, which was a big feat because the movie was released only on 1700 screens.

Again Superstar Aamir Khan broke his own record as his film PK which released in 2014 became the first film to cross 300 crores at the box office. PK had done a whopping business of Rs 339.50 crore in Indian markets and was hailed by the audience and critics too.
With Dangal Aamir Khan again upped the ante as his film became the first film to cross more than 350 crores at the box office, thus starting the 350 crore club in Bollywood.
It has been more than two years since Dangal has released but still, no Bollywood film has been able to break Dangal’s record.
With Dangal actor Aamir Khan has achieved something which has never been done before. The actor has also opened China as a market for Indian films.
Dangal also holds the record of being the fifth highest non-English grosser globally and 30th in the overall list of films made across the world.
The actor is currently working on two highly anticipated projects which includes Thugs Of Hindostan.
