Actor Aamir Khan’s son Junaid assisted director Rajkumar Hirani in his father’s film PK however, he didn’t get any special treatment on the sets of PK says his father Aamir Khan.
Said Aamir in a recent interview, “It was great fun! He didn’t get any special treatment, he was one of the junior assistants, he stayed with junior assistants, he ate with them, and he traveled with them. He is still young and he is still learning. Ultimately, when he feels he is ready to take the step and if I feel that the step that he wants to take I can back then I would help him.”
Directed by Raju Hirani, PK features Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt among others. Aamir who is known as one of the most versatile actors in the showbiz says ‘PK’ was an extremely challenging role for him.
He says, “I find this role extremely challenging, maybe other actors might find it easy to do. For me the strength behind or the hero behind PK is not me but Raju Hirani, he is the force behind PK and if you replace me you will do fine with the film but if you replace him you don’t have the film. So PK is essentially Raju’s film and according to me he is the number one director and his track record shows that.”
