The politically correct star said, “I don’t like to show you violence. I am sure there are lot of young people who have liked the show. My opinion is that it was a violent show. Karan (Johar) and Arjun (Kapoor) are my friends and I scolded them and told them that I was not impressed with it. I am not someone who can laugh at abuses and bad language, I think I have passed that age. I am not a 14 year-old who will laugh at abuses. I am not impressed. I personally have a problem with what they have done, therefore I have not seen the show. I felt that this is not my type of show, that’s why I haven’t seen it.”

Calling the use of abusive language a ‘verbal violence’, the actor said, “I have not yet seen that roast, but I have heard a lot about it roast’. And I have seen 2-3 clips of that, I was deeply affected by that and I was most disappointed in what I was hearing. I completely believe in freedom of speech no issues, but we have to understand we all have certain responsibilities. When I heard what was being described to me I felt it was a very violent event. I do not like such things. Violence does not mean only physical, it can be verbal too. When you insult someone, you are perpetuating violence. When you are abusing or insulting someone, you are showing the world how violent you are.”

  1. Strangely, he’s the guy who produced “vulgar” comedy Delhi Belly…what about “DK Bose” then ? And PK disturbed a lot of people, but that didn’t stop him. I’m very disappointed by Aamirji.

    • “Delhi Belly” is just a comedy movie with strong language. It wasn’t about insulting people – this is the term verbal violence he is mentioning about. And yes…what about “DK Bose”? What does it mean to you? It’s all in your mind finally. You are the person thinking filthy. “DK Bose” hasn’t got any meaning at all. You just roasted yourself right now dude.

  2. I completely agree with Haha (replied person)… Aamir is right, even I hated that show. KJO, Arjun and Ranveer showed how frustrated they are in AIB KO. They need to get their life :D

  3. I support AAMIR KHAN. Its really a verbal violence. And those who are saying that Delly Belly is produced by Aamir Khan, let me tell you that A movie is a different thing. You can even have a sex scene in movies, but not in the stage show. Aamir plays a character of a thief in Dhoom 3, does not mean he supports the idea of being a thief, but if you say it in the Live Show, it definitely means so. In the name of freedom of speech, people have forgotten the decency and discipline. Stars are not meant to endorse such cheap acts. I have no hard feeling for AIB team, they earn by doing these, but why these STARS??
