So, we have finally bid adieu to the year 2017 and welcomed 2018 with some high hopes. We saw that the year 2017 was not a great year for the Bollywood industry since several big films flopped at the box office. It was Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai which literally broke the box office hunger and the year ended on an amazing note!

If we look back at the films of 2017, there were films that won many hearts. In the time, when we saw the films of superstars getting tanked, there were content films which worked well and attracted the audience. Talking about it, we saw that the supporting actors/actresses in these content films literally managed to leave a mark. Nawazuddin Siddiqui- Raees

In the film Raees, we saw Shah Rukh Khan all new avatar and it received well by the audience. But Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a cop did a fabulous job in the film. His funny dialogues and freshness of the character was also appreciated by the fans. No one else would have done justice to his character in the supporting role.

Saurabh Shukla- Jolly LLB 2

This courtroom drama was completely taken over by Saurabh Shukla! He justified his character as a court judge and he surely made us laugh with his quirkiness. In the film, his and Akshay Kumar’s character served a great chemistry for the fans.

Deepak Dobriyal- Hindi Medium

Deepak Dobriyal was too good in the supporting role in the film. His scenes with Irfaan and his wife were funny and emotional at the same time. This man is the most loved comical actor by the audience.

Anil Kapoor- Mubarakan

Well, if Anil Kapoor would not have played the role of Kartaar Singh, then we don’t think any other actor would have acted this well like he did. In this double role flick, Anil Kapoor just stole the show and he was best suited for a supporting role.

Pankaj Tripathi- Bareilly Ki Barfi, Newton & Fukrey Returns

We can’t get enough of this man! In just one year, Pankaj Tripathi has given us such amazing films. Each and every character of the above-mentioned films was loved and adored by the fans. In each of his films, we saw a different Pankaj Tripathi altogether. And this is what the fans love more about him that he never repeats his characters. Though his role was in a supporting cast but he was not less than the main lead! Agree or no?

Meher Vij- Secret Superstar

With Secret Superstar, we got to see a new Meher Vij, who essayed the role of Zaira Wasim’s mother on-screen. Her role as a mother was written on-point and she delivered exactly the way her fans wanted to see her on the screen. In every frame, Meher did a flawless job and the graph of her role was quite strong in the film throughout.

Johnny Lever- Golmaal Again

Johnny Lever was undoubtedly the best in this fourth part of Golmaal franchise. Like always, he entertained us with his super amazing humour and multiple personality disorder. He just killed it!

Akshaye Khanna- Ittefaq

The remixed version of old Ittefaq, this was a tasty wine in a vintage bottle. Of course the movie was good but what made it memorable is Akshaye Khanna’s performance. In some movies, supporting actors are better than leads and this movie as one of them.

Manav Kaul- Tumhari Sulu

Manav Kaul played the role of Vidya Balan’s husband in the film. He was the perfect fit in this happy-go-lucky film. We enjoyed every bit of this film and his & Vidya’s chemistry in it. We saw him playing a middle-class man and he truly justified it with ease.

Anupriya Goenka- Tiger Zinda Hai

Last but not the least, Anupriya Goenka impressed us all with her character Poorna in Tiger Zinda Hai. She essayed the role of a nurse and she was beyond perfect!
