Join UsAudiences across the country were in for a pleasant surprise when they stepped in to watch Anushka Sharma starrer Pari. Reason being that attached to it was the new theatrical promo of Dil Juunglee which stars Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem.
“Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment is associated with Pari as well and he is also the producer of Dil Juunglee. Hence, the decision was taken to cut a new promo of the film and attach it along with Pari,” informs an insider, “Though the first theatrical promo too had already set the base for the musical romcom, the new promo takes it to the next level.”
What stands out here is the romantic feel of the film which is even more visible than before.
“Earlier, the focus was more towards the comic element of the film and there were jokes and gags filling the frames. Now in the new promo there is a lot more romance interspersed in the proceedings,” an observer adds, “The focus is also on the songs and the integration has been done quite well. Taapsee and Saqib are bringing on the right appeal for the youth and by the look of things, Dil Junnglee appears to be a smile-through film with no dull moments whatsoever.”

The film is directed debutant Aleya Sen and also features other youngsters like Nidhi Singh, Abhilash Thapliyal and Srishti Shrivastava.
“Though the film was earlier being planned for a release around Valentine’s Day, it has turned out to be a good decision to bring the film now,” our trade source maintains, “The songs have grown well over the last few weeks, and that has only allowed elevated visibility. Add to that the new promo which rightly conveys what Dil Juunglee is all about and it would truly be an exciting affair for the audiences.”
