Manjummel Boys is one of the Malayalam movies of 2024 that has fascinated the movie-going audience. The survival thriller will be released in theatres on February 22, 2024. Directed by Chidambaram, the film stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr., Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Arun Kurian.
It has been three weeks since Manjummel Boys was released in theatres, and the craze is unstoppable. Due to the film’s humongous success in the Malayalam-speaking regions, the makers decided to release the Telugu and Hindi dubbed versions in theatres. Hence, it was recently reported that the film will also not be releasing anytime soon on any OTT platform. However, a new report states that the Telugu dubbed version has been pushed back to a new release date.
Manjummel Boys Telugu Dubbed Version Release Date
Earlier, the survival thriller was supposed to release in Telugu-speaking states on Friday, March 15, 2024. The producers of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, will release the Telugu version. However, a report by OTT Play states that the Telugu version will hit the theatres on March 29, 2024. The news report mentions that Mythri Movie Makers have plans to carry out full-scale promotions for the Malayalam blockbuster. Hence, the release date is postponed.

Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office, Manjummel Boys has made a massive collection of 173.10 crores gross. The movie is expected to cross Tovino Thomas’ 2018 film’s collection of 181 crores gross.
The story is about friends from an arts club in Kochi who take a trip to Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, in 2006. The boys discover the Guna caves and explore the forbidden places. Their guide warns them against exploring these places, but they don’t listen to him. Their adventure turns into a nightmare, and the movie keeps you hooked on what happens to them – do they survive or succumb to the dangers around them?
Manjummel Boys also stars Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar, Shebin Benson, and Vishnu Reghu, and the story is based on a true incident. Shyju Khalid worked as the film’s cinematographer, and Vivek Harshan edited it.
