There is extraordinary craze for Agneepath. The promos of the film have been liked and the Chikni chameli song, picturised on Katrina Kaif, has only added to the hype. The formidable star cast of Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra, as well as the fact that it is a remake of a cult film, will ensure that Agneepath gets a bumper opening.
Moreover, the month of January that saw very few big releases so far, the Republic Day release of Agneepath and its 4-day weekend also mean that Karan Johar’s Agneepath is likely to break opening records at the box-office.

Agneepath Plot
In a small Indian village Mandwa, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) is taught about the path of fire (Agneepath) by his principled father. His life is shattered completeley when the evil drug lord Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father to death, Vijay leaves for Mumbai with his pregnant mother, and takes an oath that he will return back to Mandwa and bring back the glory of his fathers name and take revenge against Kancha Cheena.
In Mumbai, Vijay is taken under the wings of the city’s drug lord Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor). From here on it is a journey of revenge where he makes and breaks many relationships only to get closer to his aim. Vijay finds support in his only friend Kaali (Priyanka Chopra), who stands by him at every moment of his life. Fifteen years later, his hatred for Kancha takes him back to Mandwa where life comes full circle.

agneepath beats the record of bodyguard, ra one & many others .
agneepath is the best film wow what a performance by Hrithik Roshan
Ra.One grossed 240 crores worldwide and Don 2 grossed 220 crores worldwide. Bodyguard grossed 229 crores and Dabangg 213 crores worldwide.Ra.One made at a budget of 130 crores collected 125 crores nett in India and 50 crores overseas i.e 175 crores.Only an uninformed person or a fool will say that Ra.One is a flop.
Fuad,According to all major sites Ra.One is a hit in India with 124 crore collections which is the fourth highest of all time.Ra.one has made 10 million US$ in overseas and is a superhit and it is the fifth highest grosser.It is very easy to make remakes but difficult to make originals.I understand that you hate Shahrukh but it will have no effect on the King.Salman Khan may be a popular actor but in his 23 year old career he has not given a single award winning performance.All you haters can do is to abuse Shahrukh.Salman should focus on acting rather than muscles.

@Karan Dev: I would like to compare it with film like Bodyguardwhich was released in 2500 theaters in India because Agneepath is going to be released in 2600 theaters in India. Therefore, it will be below dignity for Agneepath if it’s being compared with a film like Ra.One which was released in 3500 theaters only in India. Ra.One is a flop film despite having some tough record to be broken. You can compare Ra.One with upcoming Krrish 3 or Sher Khan which are of similar budgeted films!!

Agneepath has high expectations with Hrithik and Sanjay in the lead.But we have to wait to see whether it will break the single day highest collections of 25 crores of Ra.One and the weekend collections(3 days) of 59.6 crores of Ra.One.Agneepath will clear the picture where Hrithik stands against the Khans.Big B gave earth shattering performance for which he won the National Award for the Best Actor.Let’s see what Hrithik does.
