On the occasion of Dussehra, the whole nation is soaked in the vibes of celebrating the festival that symbolizes the win of good over evil. When we talk about Ramayan, Lord Ram, and Raavan, how can one not mention Ramanad Sagar’s TV mythological show, which continues to hold a special place in everyone’s hearts? In today’s throwback story and on the occasion of this festival, we will tell you about the time when Govil opened up about his rivalry with Arvind Trivedi after the latter’s death.

In October 2021, Trivedi passed away due to a heart attack. The later actor didn’t keep well for a long time due to age-related illness. Later, mourning his demise, Govil opened up about his death and also spoke about them being at loggerheads when they were shooting for Sagar’s Ramayan.

During his interview after Arvind Trivedi’s demise, Arun Govil spilled the beans on their rivalry and told Times Of India, “Ram and Raavan were two strong characters in Ramayan along with Sita, but there was no competition or rivalry between us. He was a thorough gentleman, a professional, and a fine actor. He was very good at what he did, and we never had any differences or issues. It was a great experience working with him. I remember we used to eat together and then go for a walk in Umbergaon. I remember him as a Shiv bhakt and a simple man.”
