The Kapil Sharma Show: “People Say They’ve Forgotten Sunil Grover Since My Entry,” States Krushna Abhishek

Krushna Abhishek has won many hearts as Sapna from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. While not just the act but Krushna’s entry too leaves the audiences in splits in each episode! However, for the longest time this was the opinion that only Sunil Grover AKA Gutthi had managed to evoke laughter from the audiences.

But Krushna feels that his portrayal of Sapna has made people forget about Sunil Grover altogether. Speaking about the same in an exclusive interview to Zoom, Krushna said, “You won’t believe it but no one has compared Sapna to Guthi till date. In fact, people tell me that jabse tum Aaye ho hum Sunil ko bhul chuke hai. I have received this compliment several times. Sunil is a very good actor. I grade him as a very good actor. He has his own style. I have my own style. Akshay Kumar does a different kind of comedy, Govinda does a different kind of comedy but both are great in their own spaces. I believe that Sunil has a different style and his character doesn’t match with Sapna at all. No one talks about him on the show, too. Initially people did, but then we took over.”

Krushna was recently seen essaying the role of an Army officer in a music video, Tu Aaya Na, that revolves around the recent incident of the Pulwama attacks. On the other hand Sunil Grover was last seen alongside Salman Khan in Bharat.
