Today, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Disha Vakani’s on-screen and off-screen brother Mayur Vakani wished all the viewers of the show a very Raksha Bandhan. This festival celebrates the bond between siblings.
Disha, who plays Daya Jethalal Gada in TMKOC, shares a special bond with Mayur aka Sunder. The makers of the show took to social media and shared a sweet video on social media celebrating the auspicious day.
The video was posted with the caption reading: “Aaj din hai bohot he khaas, kyunki aaj ke din rehti hai har Bhai aur Behen ke chehre par muskurahat ki mithass. Aayeye aap bhi humare sang milkar kare apne Bhai aur Beheno ko khushiyoon ka izhaar, kyunki issi rishtey mein chhupa hai humara hamesha wala pyaar! #RakshaBandhan #TaarakMehtaKaOoltahChashmah,” the makers shared a video message on an auspicious day.

Alongside Mayur, the video also features Jatin Bajaj. Jatin essays the role of Bhailu, Sunder’s friend, in the show.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is produced by Neela Film Productions Pvt Ltd. The show recently completed 12 years of telecast and Asit Kumarr Modi, the show’s creator expressed his gratitude to fans.
The sitcom also stars Dilip Joshi, Amit Bhatt, Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Tanuj Mahashabde, Munmun Dutta, Mandar Chandwadkar and many more.
In a chat with the Times of India, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal (Mrs. Sodhi) opened up about her ‘special connection’ with Disha Vakani. She said she (Jennifer) has many things in common with Disha in real-life.
