Salman Khan has been hosting the reality show, Bigg Boss since its 4th season. While BB is unarguably one of India’s most loved reality shows, so is bhaijaan as the host! But one fact that all BB fans know is that each year the Sultan actor says that he would not return as the host in the next year!
So we thought, what if Salman Khan really did not return for Bigg Boss 14? Scary right? But then, looking at the brighter side, we wonder who would be able to fill in the shoes of the megastar as the host.
Our doubts were heightened when self-acclaimed critic, Kamaal R Khan said that BB 14 should be hosted by Ranveer Singh! Now well that is something that a lot of people would love, but netizens thought Rohit Shetty would be a better bet to handle the sometimes-unruly BB contestants.

While the nation debates who the next host of Bigg Boss should be if not Salman Khan, here’s our list of possibilities.
1. Kapil Sharma:
While the countries most loved comedian does not have the best relations with Colours, it certainly would be a treat to see Kapil Sharma host the show and lighten the mood that is most needed during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes.
2. Akshay Kumar:
Talk about a ringmaster to crack the tough nuts of Bigg Boss, Akshay Kumar is the perfect fit. He is one of those few actors who is witty AF and Disciplined AF too!
3. Rohit Shetty:
Well, who does not love Rohit Shetty in Khatron Ke Khiladi. Right from being the caring and supporting mentor, to the no-nonsense host, the filmmaker has all the qualities that are needed to look after the Bigg Boss contestants! (And let’s not forget his little visit in the Bigg Boss 13 house to play peacemaker between Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz)
4. Sunil Grover:
Sunil Grover has the power to lighten the mood in any situation. But the added advantage to the actor is the fact that he is not just all about comedy. The Bharat actor may be a surprise hit with Bigg Boss fans.
5. Ranveer Singh:
Well, KRK clearly has given his vote to Ranveer Singh. Given the Simmba actors never exhausting energy and always smiling face, he might be just the host that BB contestants might want to see after a stressful week. And also not to mention Ranveer Singh has the most infectious charm to his credit!
6. NONE OF THE ABOVE
But then again…don’t we all know that loyal Salman Khan fans around? So, our last option is for those of feel that there will be no Bigg Boss without Salman Khan.
