For those who don’t know, Spirit is a pan-India project and will be made on a huge scale. Considering the stardom of Prabhas and attraction of Vanga’s films among the audience, the biggie is expected to explode whenever it arrives at ticket windows. Not just in India but even in overseas, the film might fetch some unreal numbers and that’s what even Vanga is confident about.
Recently, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was indulged in an interview with Galatta Plus, in which he claimed that Spirit will take a bumper opening if things fall in place. He said, “If everything goes well with the teaser, trailer, and songs pre-release and whatever we do to grab the audiences attention, opening day would be 150 crore. It’s a trade calculation. It should be worldwide or pan-India. Easily, it could be 150 crore in one day for a film like this if the material is good.”

Sandeep Reddy Vanga was even asked about the huge budget Spirit will be carrying due to the presence of Prabhas and the high production value. The director answered, “I think because the kind of budget they are putting, I feel the producer is safe. With Prabhas and my combination along with satellite and digital rights, we can recover our budget there itself.”
Spirit is expected to go on floors in the month of November or December this year, and if reports are to be believed, Prabhas will be essaying the character of an honest police officer in the film.
Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s last film, Animal, was a huge box office success and it earned 910.72 crores gross globally. Speaking about Prabhas’ last film, Salaar, it was a worldwide winner with a collection of 615.26 crores gross.
