On the work front, Chiranjeevi happens to be in news following his next, Acharya. The social actioner will have Chiranjeevi as a Naxalite. The film has Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady. If reports are to be believed Acharya may also have Tollywood heartthrob Mahesh Babu in an extended cameo. There are speculations that the Sarileru Nekevvaru star will be donning the role of a fierce student leader in the social actioner. However, an official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
Acharya is being helmed by filmmaker Kortala Siva. The Chiranjeevi-Kajal starrer is being bankrolled by the Konidela Production banner. The film which went on floors late last year is currently put on halt following Coronavirus.
