A lot of Tom Holland fans say he reminds them of a puppy. A lot of his admirers compare him with cute doggos due to his dorky & sweet nature. But the actor has a cuter being with him; his pet dog Tessa.
In our Celebrity Pals section today, we will tell you about Tessa Holland. Tessa is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed dog. She entered the Spider-Man: Homecoming actor’s life in 2014 when she was a cute pup. Avengers: Endgame actor chose this breed because of the stigma around pit bulls that they are dangerous. But with her cute pics and videos, Holland has made his fans fall in love with his pet.
Currently, Tessa Holland is five years old & Tom Holland loves her a lot. So even if he attends press junket far away, he makes sure his pet is with him. The Onward actor once shared how it angers him that England laws ban certain breeds, especially pit bulls. He said these breeds are banned because they are considered dangerous. In reality, that’s just nonsense.

During Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere in 2017, Tom took Tessa along with him. He later spoke about that wonderful moment. The actor had said that she’s an angel and he loves her. She’s a blue staffy and the breed is considered to be very dangerous. He said it’s not true and they aren’t aggressive. The Avengers: Infinity War actor called her the sweetest, most angelic thing one will ever meet. He always wanted to bring her to a press event and hence, he did that.
During the London Premiere of Robert Downey Jr starrer Dolittle this year, Tessa Holland stole the red carpet show. The adorable doggo grabbed everyone’s attention despite being surrounded by world-famous humans. Both RDJ and TH posed with the doggo and added more charm to the event.
Tessa Holland has her own fan account on Instagram; however, it’s private. One has to send a request to be added there and enjoy exclusive pics/videos of the pet. The username is ‘tessa_holland_fans’, and its bio reads, ‘This account is for Tessaaa😍🐶’. The account has 35.1K followers on Instagram.
What does Tom Holland do when he can’t take his pet along for shoots or for events? Well, he makes sure to facetime her. Even amid the shoot, he takes time off and does a good chat session with Tessa.
So along with Tessa, he cares about all those pups out there. A few months ago, the Endgame actor teamed up with Stephen Colbert for the Rescue Dog Rescue campaign. The duo made sure they find homes for stray dogs and pups from North Shore Animal League America.
