Recently, Disney+ treated fans by streaming the majority of the Marvel films. It will be a month for the same and online portal Soaphub looked at monthly Google search data about the Marvel films, heroes and villains from the film. This data doesn’t include Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and The Incredible Hulk as they aren’t there on Disney+.
The most searched movie on Google is Avengers: Endgame with 2.8 million searches. Then comes 2008 film Iron Man (816,000 searches) starring Robert Downey Jr followed by Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange (561,000). If you are wondering on what spot Chris Evans’ Captain America lies, well he is on the 7th number.
Talking about superheroes, the most searched Avenger is Iron Man (770,000 searches) and it’s not surprising at all. Following him are Doctor Strange (445,000 searches) and then Paul Bettany’s Vision (214,000). When it comes to villain, finally two of the Marvel villains have managed to beat Thanos at least on Google search.
