Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) reminded us of many cool webbed superheroes and one of them is Spider-Man Noir. Actor Nicholas Cage voiced the monochromatic webbed superhero in the animated movie from the 1930s. The way his character speaks has fascinated a lot of Marvel fans. He is also considered the coolest of the lot!

Recently, there were rumours that Nicholas Cage will star in a live-action Spider-Man Noir TV series. After all the speculations, the actor has finally reacted to the news. He confirmed that talks are going on, but nothing has been finalised yet. He even praised the comic superhero and called it a masterpiece.

In an interview with Collider, when asked about the Spider-Man Noir TV show, Nicholas Cage said, “Well, I can say that we have been talking. It’s no secret that I love the character. I think the character provides another mash-up of sorts. I can combine my favourite golden age performances, i.e. Robinson, Cagney, Bogart, with a character that is, I guess, widely considered [to be] Stan Lee’s masterpiece.” He added, “I see it as a kind of foray into a pop art mash-up of, sort of, a [Jungian] Lichtenstein, mash-up by way of Bogart and Cagney, but nothing’s definitive yet. It’s just conversation.”
