The fourth installment of Disney’s Zombies franchise has commenced filming in New Zealand. The exciting news comes alongside the debut of the first on-set photo, showcasing the beloved stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim returning to portray Addison and Zed again.
Swayam Bhatia will make his mark as Ray, while Mekonnen Knife steps into the shoes of Vargas. These fresh faces are slated to embody enigmatic monsters, although precise details of their characters remain under wraps. Lisa Chappell and Jonno Roberts are adding to the ensemble, taking on the adult roles of Eldress and Commander Bright. They join the ranks of previously revealed cast members such as Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Chandler Kinney, Kylee Russell, Freya Skye, and Malachi Barton.
The preliminary details for “Zombies 4,” currently referred to as the working title, provide insight into the fourth chapter of the franchise. Set against the backdrop of a summer road trip following their freshman year of college, Zed and Addison embark on an adventure. Their journey leads them to the divergent territories of Sunnyside and Shadyside, where they encounter a diverse cast, including Nova, Victor, Vera, Ray, and Vargas. This collision of characters from various supernatural realms—from zombies and werewolves to aliens—sets the stage for unforeseen escapades.
