Kaia Gerber and Cara Delevingne have been spending time together in LA during the coronavirus pandemic. They just proved that they’re closer than ever after showing off their matching tattoos. The 18-year-old model revealed they have matching tattoos on Wednesday while wishing her pal a “Happy 28th Birthday” on her Instagram Stories.
Kaia, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, shared two snaps on Instagram what appeared to be her and Cara’s feet, showing off the ink in their arches. She also captioned it “Happy birthday to my solemate”.
Kaia, in another birthday tribute on her Stories, called Delevingne “the best protest buddy.” It recalls the time when the two friends were spotted marching together at a Black Lives Matter protest in Los Angeles in July. Reportedly, Cara had just broken up from girlfriend Ashley Benson while Gerber was earlier spotted with comedian Pete Davidson during the winter.
Cara Delevingne had also used her birthday for a good cause. She asked her over 44 million followers on social media to sign her petition to demand Congress pass the Break Free From Pollution Act. She wrote, “For my birthday this year, join me in demanding Congress pass the Break Free From Pollution Act and put our planet and public health above corporate profit. 🌎 Link in my bio to sign the petition – can we get 28,000 signatures for my 28th birthday? @sierraclub.”
Margaret Qualley, Cara’s other close friend, wrote on Instagram, “Dear @caradelevingne, man, too much to say. So incredibly lucky to have you as a friend. I love you, happy birthday.”
While Cara’s fellow model Joan Smalls, also appreciated her effort. She wrote on her Instastories, “Happy burfday bubba. Keep on turning up and shining through.”
Georgia May Jagger also wrote on the gram saying, “Happy Birthday!!!!! @caradelevingne I love you so much. Can’t wait to be old dog-obsessed ladies sitting on the porch with towels on our heads chatting away lol.”
