Stranger Things Season 4 is one of the most anticipated upcoming series of Netflix. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the shootings have been stalled and we will have to wait till next year for the next season of the show. On the other hand, Marvel’s Black Widow could have dominated the box office by now, if there was no lockdown.
It is now shifted to November 2020 and we hope by then everything returns to normalcy. David Harbour who plays the character of Jim Hopper in the series died in the last season and we remember sobbing over his last letter to Millie Bobby Brown aka Eleven, who happens to be his adopted daughter.
A while ago, the makers of Stranger Things released the new promo for the Season 4 and we saw Harbour alive and in Russia. And he will also be seen in Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow playing the character of Alexei Shostakov, aka Red Guardian.
Now, fans around the world have their own crossover theories but this one happens to be the best one. Red Guardian is almost equal to Russia’s Captain America played by Chris Evans. Now what’s interesting is that Harbour has two mega projects and both revolve around Russia and this can be a possibility that one hint that we are all waiting for.
Although talking to EW about the same, David Harbour said, “very Russian year.” He then laughed about the crossover theory and said, “I know, it is a very surprising, annoying coincidence, and I apologize to the entire internet. There is no rhyme or reason for it, I promise you. There’s no crossover event between Stranger Things and the MCU. I mean, I do look very different in them. One of them, I’m 270 pounds and got a beard and thick, long hair, and the other one I’m like 200 pounds and have no hair.”
In the same interview, he also spoke about his character as ‘Alexie’ and revealed it’s a narcissist character and said, “has this need to be liked.” He happened to be like a father figure to Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow.
It would be like a dream come true if this happens.
