After Ellen DeGeneres got slammed for being a mean host and being accused of turning a blind eye to racism, bullying and sexual harassment on her hit daytime show, her good friend Jennifer Anniston is now facing the wrath of the netizens. While all the negative publicity about The Ellen Show have begun surfacing, netizens are raising questions as to where her A-list celeb friends are in her time of need.
Tinsel Town is rife with Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer’s strong bond and strong friendship for years. The two had several times shown admiration for each other at various events. As a matter of fact, the Friends alum has even appeared on The Ellen Show multiple times so far and a montage of photos of them hugging each other was also showcased. The two have been neighbours in the past as well.
While honouring Jennifer Aniston at the Variety Power of Women luncheon in October 2019, Ellen DeGeneres had proudly said: “I am one of her best friends”. She added, “Nearest, dearest, most favourite friend.” Later, Jennifer even jokingly said, “Ellen we gotta keep the best friend stuff kind of on the DL, okay? ‘Cause a lot of my best friends are here.” If this wasn’t enough, rumours were rife about Jennifer being gay and “more than just friends” with Ellen DeGeneres .
