The first day business of the film was approximately 1.25 crores at the domestic box office. It performed its best in Mumbai, but other cities such as Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat were quite low.
Although amongst the new releases, this is the only film that has survived. Last week’s release Tanu Weds Manu Returns is still dominating the multiplexes and single screens. Welcome To Karachi is a comic tale of two Indians who get stranded in Karachi,Pakistan accidentally after their cruise takes a wrong detour.
