Three new films debuted in the Top 5 chart at the North American box-office during the May 6-8 weekend. Paramount Pictures’ Thor made an entry on the top with a gross of US $65.7 million in its first weekend. Falling one place in its second weekend was Universal Pictures’ Fast Five. It collected $32.4 million, taking its 10-day total to $139.8 million.

Debuting at no. 3 was TriStar Pictures’ Jumping The Broom with a take of $15.2 million. At no. 4 was the third new film, Something Borrowed. It collected $13.9 million in its debut weekend.

Rounding off the Top 5 chart was 20th Century Fox’s Rio which fell three places in its fourth weekend. Grossing $8.5 million, it took its total for 24 days to $115.2 million.
