Spider-Man: Far From Home: Box Office Day 11 (India): Kids’ favourite Spidey started to explore his range when Marvel took over the franchise to take it universal. Adding their usual ingredients of brilliant VFX aided by an entertaining story and rib-tickling humour, Spider-Man did nothing but expand its audience since last few years.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Far From Home officially ends the phase 3 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and it’s an almost perfect finale to the epic saga. The movie till its 2nd Friday collected 64.06 crores, through which the movie already made its concrete position in the list of Koimoi’s Highest Hollywood Grossers.

Thanks to the widespread fan frenzy for the film in India, Spider-Man: Far From Home arrived in India a day earlier than scheduled. The film, which was scheduled to release on July 5, released in India on July 4. Sony Pictures Entertainment India released the film in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The Jon Watts directorial follows the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, which ended with the death of Iron Man, essayed by the enigmatic Robert Downey Jr. The trailer of the film shows how Holland as Peter Parker and Spider-Man is dealing with the death of Iron Man/Tony Stark. In sync with it, the graffiti also shows Spider-Man mourning the loss. Actor Jake Gyllenhaal entered the franchise with the role of Mysterio.

Holland was introduced as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War in 2016. He got his first solo movie with Spider-Man: Homecoming, and will be back as the superhero with his second solo movie Spider-Man: Far From Home. Holland shared that the plot of the new instalment is closely tied with the concept of a multiverse, saying: “It is a very exciting prospect and there are much bigger things that happen on the horizon”.
